Events of the European Media Literacy Week 2022
The European Media Literacy Week was weeklong series of events that focus on current media literacy topics. Many of them were held online and open to the public, allowing decision makers, stakeholders and interested EU citizens to participate. Throughout the week, representatives from a variety of institutions (governmental, non-governmental, scientific, media and private sectors) shared their perspectives on media literacy and its importance in society through a series of lectures and workshops.

The European project “Social Radio 2.0 - The European School Radio and Podcasting Community for Active Citizenship Education” aims to introduce a holistic educational approach that will support schools and teachers foster citizenship education, combining innovative pedagogies with the extensive use of new media and technology, particularly, leveraging on the power of radio broadcasting and podcasts. A webinar event for teachers launches the project's pilot implementation by 25 schools from 5 European countries.
"Mediofon" is a radio show about media in the Radio UWM FM in Olsztyn, Poland (http://www.uwmfm.pl/) run by Urszula Doliwa and Marta Więckiewicz-Archacka from the Institute of Journalism and Social Communication at the University of Warmia and Mazury. It is broadcast last Saturday of every month at 5 pm.
